To get these shots the ISO was cranked as high as it would go (1600) with the aperature set at 22, and the shutter open for a good 30 to 40 seconds. Depending on how everyone is feeling tomorrow night we could potentially go out again and hope for a better showing.

The Northern Lights
I was hoping for something more spectacular for Roxanne's Kelli's and the girl's sake. Growing up in Alaska I had seen the northern lights many times. And while they were "out" tonight it certainly wasn't very impressive. In fact most people with average cameras probably couldn't even see them.
