After our sightseeing tour and lunch we headed out of town to Íshestar one of Icelands horseback riding tour companies. The iclandic breed of horses has been around for over one thousand years and is a very beautiful breed. They say that being on TV adds ten pounds, apparently it also adds about 12" in height, we were surprised when we got to the stable and saw how short the horses actually were. Their height at the shoulder was about the same as Kelli's shoulders and had very long hair all over their bodies. I'm not sure if this is typical of all breeds of horses in the winter, but it reminded me of legwarmers out of the 80s.

The Icelandic horses, or...
Every 4 and 6 year old little girl's favorite stop while on vacation.
