64 degrees north

The sun rises at 11:00am, and sets at 4:00am, which doesn't get you much time for sight seeing, but makes it pretty easy to catch a sunrise. While waiting for our ride to the Blue Lagoon this morning Kelli the girls and I went for a walk, our hotel is maybe a quarter of a mile from the ocean.

While on our way back to the hotel we had a bit of a scare. We were crossing the street (it was our turn to go) when out of nowhere a car went flying through the intersection right in front of us at around 40mph. Zoe and Ella could literally have reached out and touched the car if they wanted to. Thankfully no one was hurt and we were able to continue on our way.
